DMCA & Takedown Policy

VoicerPacks hosts community-made content packs, and we take copyright seriously. If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, this page explains how to get it removed. We respond to valid notices promptly. Note that many listings on VoicerPacks are external links pointing at the creator's original upload elsewhere. For those, the content itself lives on the other site, but we will still remove the listing on request.

Filing a takedown notice

Email [email protected] with the subject "DMCA notice" and include the elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
• Identification of the infringing material and where it is on our site: the pack URL(s) are ideal.
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices slow things down; complete ones are usually actioned quickly. When we remove content, we notify the uploader and tell them why.

Counter-notices

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address including:

• Identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, and phone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your district (or, if outside the United States, a district where we may be found).
• Your physical or electronic signature.

We will forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant. If they do not notify us within 10–14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the content.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing content are terminated. We track takedowns per account for this purpose.

Not just for lawyers

You do not need a formal DMCA notice to flag a problem. If someone re-uploaded your pack without credit, or you are a creator who wants your work delisted, just email us at [email protected] and we will sort it out.
