VoicerPacks works because creators trust it with their packs and players trust what they download. These rules keep that true. Breaking them gets content removed; breaking them repeatedly or maliciously gets accounts removed.
Most packs are built from existing audio and video. Say where it came from: the show, game, streamer, or artist. Put that in your pack description. If a rights holder asks for their material to come down, we comply (see our takedown policy).
Never upload The Choicer Voicer itself, any part of its binaries, or anyone's paid content. This includes re-uploading another creator's pack without their permission. Link to their original instead.
Packs are folders of audio, images, video, and text. Executables and scripts have no business in them, and our validator rejects them. Attempting to smuggle anything harmful past it is an instant permanent ban.
If your pack contains profanity, sexual content, slurs in source material, jump-scare audio, or anything else people would want to know about before playing it in front of others, flag it in the listing. Mislabeled packs get relabeled or removed.
The Choicer Voicer community values human-made content. The game itself carries a "No AI" tag. We do not ban AI-generated audio outright, but we require disclosure: if any of your pack's audio is AI-generated (voice clones, generated speech or music), you must say so when uploading, and the listing will show it. Passing off AI audio as human-made is treated as a serious rule violation.
No packs, comments, or profiles that exist to harass, demean, or dox anyone. That includes packs built from someone's voice or likeness against their wishes. Public figures are not an exception to the harassment part.
Broken packs waste everyone's time. Before uploading, check that your pack follows the format:
dub_video.ogv for dub packs. Our validator checks these on upload, and our guides explain the formats in detail.
If content is removed after a rights holder's request or a moderation decision, do not re-upload it under a different name or account. Use the counter-notice process if you believe a removal was wrong.
